Sandra attended Capilano university to complete the university transfer program in sciences. Upon completion she attended Vancouver Community College for one year to complete Certified Dental Assisting. She continued her studies completing Dental Hygiene in 1993.
In 2010, she decided to further her education by attending the University of Washington’s DECOD dental program. Upon completion, she was given 365 day exemption (residential care registration) in British Columbia.
She has been practicing dental hygiene for over 20 years and has worked in a variety of practice settings from periodontal practices to general family dentistry. She joined Commercial Station Dental in 2008. In addition to working in private practice, she also works in residential care facilities helping clients with receiving preventative dental care and educating the staff on how to deliver optimum daily oral care for the residents in those facilities.
Sandra is an active member of the dental hygiene association on a local, provincial & national level. She has been member of a dental hygiene study club in the lower mainland since 1995 and also keeps update by attending the Pacific Dental Conference in Vancouver with her colleagues annually.
Sandra enjoys the outdoors, exercising, going to the occasional movie, & dining out with friends but most of all spending time her family.
