Family Dentistry

  • COMPLETE EXAM -  It is a comprehensive evaluation of your overall health and oral hygiene as well as checking for cavities and gum disease.
  • FILLINGS -  composite (tooth colored) fillings – used to fix decayed teeth
  • EXTRACTIONS -  removal of wisdom teeth, loose tooth, badly decayed tooth
  • ROOT CANAL TREATMENT -  It is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed.

Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry

  •  VENEERS - a thin shell to cover the front of the tooth, bonded onto the teeth, stronger than composites and they don’t change color or stain. Prepping procedure requires very minimal tooth reduction.
  • IMPLANTS  -  replacement of a tooth root which gets fused to the bone, after an implant is placed an implant crown is made which matches with the color of the natural teeth. 98% success rate if oral hygiene and good health is kept to date

  • DENTURES -  used to replace missing teeth with one or more artificial teeth to regain function and natural look. It’s removable and easy to clean.
  • BRIDGES -  a non- removable teeth, replaces missing one or more teeth, bridges the artificial teeth to the existing teeth on both sides of the missing space.
  • CROWNS -  covers either partial or whole tooth. Recommended for patients who have large fillings, root canal treated teeth

(In office and take home kits available)

“In Office Whitening” – patient should be decay free and have clean teeth for comfort and best results.Procedure is approx. 2 hours, procedure, gum tissues are isolated, and whitening gel is placed on each tooth and a blue light is placed for intervals of 3 X 15 minute sessions. After whitening is completed, Fluoride will be placed for 5 minutes. A take home touch up kit with custom made trays are included with the “In Office Whitening.”

Hygiene and Prevention

  • SCALING -  it involves the careful removal of plaque bacteria from the tooth’s surface just below the gumline.
  • ROOT PLANING - it is a type of removal of plaque and tartar that reaches deeper to address the surface of the tooth’s root. This is done in the same manner as scaling. Root planing smooths the surface of the root so the gums can reattach properly.

  • NIGHT GUARD -  is an appliance prescribed to patients to treat teeth grinding (bruxism). In general, it protects the teeth and other vital structures by offering a protective barrier between the upper and lower teeth.

  • INVISALIGN -  uses a series of clear removable aligners to help correct a broad range of dental and orthodontic issues… example: crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, deep bite, open bite.
  • DAMON BRACES -  are self-ligating appliances that are fitted in the same way as traditional metal braces. But instead of having brackets that tighten and adjust the braces regularly, Damon braces use a slide mechanism that attaches wires to brackets to move naturally with the teeth as they realign. This makes them more comfortable, better looking and able to provide strong results in a shorter time.

Our clinic uses a technique called "Velscope" to screen oral mucosal abnormalities.
